Silentor develop and sell tailor-made exhaust silencers as well as standard silencers, based on a patented Silentor silencer tecnology, where diffusors is used to obtain low backpressure.
The tailor-made silencers are based on the specific engine and exhaust data in the actual application while the standard exhaust silencers are based upon typical engine and exhaust data.
The tailor-made silencers vary from very small silencers up to incredibly large silencers, while the standard silencers in stock are available from 3 to 12 inlet.
In order to optimise the tailor-made silencer solution and find the right silencer for the actual project we ask for engine and exhaust data as well as space available for the silencer. Having received this information we use advanced computer programs to design the silencer.
Silentorâ Classic is a very high performing standard silencer and is recommended in applications with strict exhaust noise attenuation requirements and in situations where a low frequency sound from the firing frequency needs to be effectively attenuated.
By the end of this year Silentor will introduce a less performing but smaller standard silencer.
Both silencer types are characterised by an optimal combination of attenuation performance, backpressure impact and size making both silencer types outstanding compared to conventional silencers. |
